Every school day nearly one million Virginia students are transported to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other school-related activities on school buses. In Essex County, approximately 1,200 of our students are being transported. The safety of our students is a priority in Essex County Public Schools and we have 2-way radios to ensure safe transportation.
